The inner world of oneself is expressed and seen from the outside: as the dancer explores the space in nature, she begins a dance with her inner fears and desires. Echoed by the voice of the Dancer, Tanit Graffelman, mixed with sound by Alexander Weber, the film is an observation of oneself, the space within, and the space around, which ultimately leads to confrontation with one's emotions. “The Space Within” explores boundaries of fears, the wish to fight against them and the need to remain safe and protected. A video inspired by the struggle to love and get close to someone or something, and the desire to transcend these hesitations and embrace letting go.
